Josh Silverbauer (The Optimizer) was honored to give a presentation/workshop on Google Tag Manager at SXSW. The event is an essential destination for global professionals, features sessions, showcases, screenings, exhibitions, and a variety of networking opportunities. SXSW celebrates the convergence of the interactive, film, and music industries.
The presentation was geared toward understanding how to track data using Google Tag Manager and the dataLayer. During the presentation, attendees learned how to grab click, form, and page level data using the SXSW website as an example site.
Google Tag Manager is impressively robust and one of our favorite programs to speak about. See the full presentation here; Tracking Website Data with Google Tag Manager
Beyond the panel, Josh was able to hang out with the Amplify Philly crew, an organization dedicated to bringing the best of Philly business, culture, and tech into the international spotlight through SXSW and soon-to-be other innovative festivals. Hanging out with Philly in Austin was a fun and unique experience.
